"The discoveries that kids can make by letting go of preconceptions and tuning in to their senses may just be the only way to change our society’s relationship with food. All kids (and their parents) need to read this book!"
Heather A. Wheeler, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist"
No Ordinary Apple is a lovely book. The illustrations are larger than life and they do in fact make the experience of eating an apple look special. The story is fun, and children will feel like they’re learning something rather than being preached at.
No Ordinary Apple by Sara Marlowe is perfect to read in tandem with Savor: Mindful Eating, Mindful Life by Thich Nhat Hanh and Lillian Cheung.
