MARS-A: Mindful Awareness & Resilience Skills for Adolescents
Based on the book, The Mindful Teen by Dzung Vo, MARS-A is an evidence-informed group for teens adapted form MBCT and MBSR. I am trained in this program.
In this program, teens will learn mindfulness practices that can be helpful with managing stress, improving attention & focus, and increasing an overall sense of well-being. Mindfulness can be very helpful when dealing with stress, relationship challenges, unhelpful thoughts, strong emotions, negative self-talk, physical illness, and daily stresses & frustrations.
ONLINE. Wednesdays, 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. Likely to start hte end of April, 2020, depnding on interest.
Cost to be determined. Sliding scale available for people without extended benefits and / or facing financial harship due to COVID-19.
